SportsTiger launches Interview Series “OFF THE FIELD” - Know all about the series
Sports have been a part and parcel of
everyone’s’ life at least once, be it outdoor or indoor. SportsTiger offers a
unique blend of all sports just at your fingertips. Launched in later half of
February 2020, the platform offers global sports news in bite-sized 60
words. The application also stands strong providing Sports Live Streaming
for all sports fanatics.
Something different & unique is what
sustains with consistency in the world. With the aim to always bring in new and
exciting things for the readers and viewers, SportsTiger launched an exclusive interview
series, titled “OFF THE FIELD”. When Coronavirus outbreak has put a
halt to sporting events globally, SportsTiger has some Off the Field action
coming up for you. The series highlight some quick bytes of players as well as
reckoned sports presenters. Well, you never know, you might get a hint of
something which is well awaited – the fate of T20 World Cup or maybe something
on the IPL 2020.
To not keep you long waiting, the first set
of interviewees include Indian cricketer Sreesanth, Deep Dasgupta, Hong Kong
player Anshuman Rath, domestic cricketer Prashant Chopra and commentator cum
sports presenter Radhakrishnan.
The Kerala speedster S. Sreesanth was a
part of the squad to be the winner of two World Cup title (WT20 2007 & WC
2011). He is reckoned to be the only specialist pacer to win both the World Cups.
Sreesanth came to fame by dismissing master blaster Sachin Tendulkar in 2005 Challenger
Trophy and at that time he was 2nd quickest to reach 50 wickets in Test
cricket only after Venkatesh Prasad. He is best known for his reverse swing
deliveries in his prime days.
Former Indian cricketer and commentator
Deep Dasgupta being a wicket-keeper batsman represented India in 8 ODIs and 5
Test. He led Bengal team in Ranji Trophy after Sourav Ganguly deciding to
stepping down from captaincy. He played as reserve wicket-keeper for MS Dhoni
in East Zone. Since 2013 he has turned himself into a cricket commentator &
sports presenter with Star Sports.
Hong Kong player Anshuman Rath captained
his side in Asia Cup 2018 and he was only the 3rd youngest captain
to lead the side at the age of 20. Currently in Sep, 2019 he decided to pursue
a career in India and quit as a player in Hong Kong.
Indian domestic talent Prashant Chopra was a
part of the U19 WC winning squad in 2012. He is also lauded for scoring a
triple hundred on his birthday in Ranji Trophy while playing with Gautam
Gambhir in 2017.
Sports presenter/commentator Radhakrishnan Srinivasan
is known for his tenure with Star Sports from 2002-2006 and in Neo Sports from
2006-2013. He is known for hosting the WC 2003 in South Africa.
